"All in all it has been a great experience with 5 star solar. They were very responsive up front getting us a quote and getting the whole process initiated and all the questions answered that I thought to ask. The price for the product was excellent. The installation efficiency and professionalism was top notch. Everything was up in less than a day. Unfortunately, it did take a couple of weeks to get the system online because of some communication glitches between inspectors and the company but once we realized something wasn’t moving forward, then that got fixed. I was a little bummed because the smaller array of panels gets a bit shaded at the edge by the upper roof as soon as the sun passes that angle and a small adjustment of the roof design away from that roof edge would have prevented any shading. Hopefully it isn’t decreasing the output by much but it is annoying. We have had no issues with the panel production or the battery storage but only time will tell. It’s a great thing that we haven’t had any issues with the system but that also means we haven’t had to try and get help troubleshooting. Hopefully it stays that way!
